SGA host first event for Dorm Duels: Sardines
The Student Government Association of Sterling College has an exciting lineup of events this year for the students–and faculty–to enjoy in between their everyday schedules. This year, SGA announced a campus-wide Dorm Duels, where each of the dorms on campus, as well as a collection of the faculty and professors, will compete in a series of events to win an ultimate goal at the end of the year.

Chapel changes for the new school year

Chapel is quite the mainstay at Sterling College, whether your favorite part of the weekly sessions is the speaker that visits, prayer, or singing with the worship team; it is all an important part of the community at Sterling.
This year, there have been some changes to the institution’s chapel services. Most will remain the same, remaining twice a week on Wed. and Friday at 10 in the morning. . . . [more]

Sterling College club ‘The Table’ kicked off the beginning of the school year with a Coffeehouse worship Night at Clives Staples yesterday. The women-oriented group invited all of the women on campus to enjoy hot cinnamon rolls and coffee for the evening, all while worshiping the Lord and singing praise into the dinky coffeehouse walls. . . . Pre-Season Power: Volleyball Hits the Court

It’s common to walk past the courts inside Gleason and not be able to hear your conversation when the Sterling College volleyball team is training. They have taken the campus gyms by storm, training hours away with loud energy and positive vibes. Head Coach John Harding, who’s walking into his 14 season here at Sterling College, is more than ready to get the girls out on the court and kick off the season.
“I think the biggest strength is that we are all on the same page. We’re working together to get better and players are encouraging and wanting their teammates to do well, and not just solely focus on themselves,” Harding said. . . . [more]
